Ed’s health issues are complicated by the fact that his mother was adopted and we know little of her family history other than she may have been bi-racial. Ed’s mom succumbed to cancer (neurofibromatosis) when she was 29. His dad, me, never really recovered from the loss and that didn’t help him any.
